How to prevent facebook notifications from congesting your email inbox?

Its simple and easy just a few steps

1. Sign in to your facebook account 
2. Click on Account button from the top right corner
3. Select Account settings
4. Then select Notifications
5. Unmark/uncheck the boxes (remove the ticks) according to your preferences
6. Then after click Save Changes.

Note that you will still recieve other notifications of;

• Groups
• Application
• And other services you subscribed to.
